2024 Welding for Maintenance Workers - Escanaba

Intended Audience: Local agency maintenance workers with some welding experience. Self-taught and non-certified welders are welcome.

This 2-day class will cover: • Welding & cutting safety • Duty cycle • Welding defects • Equipment maintenance • Demonstrations • SMAW (stick) • GMAW (MIG) • GTAW (TIG)

Training will take place from 7:00am-4:00pm each day.  Lunch will be provided.

REQUIRED PPE: Participants should wear protective clothing and bring their own safety gear. • Welding helmet • Gloves • Safety glasses • Welding jacket (if possible)
