Intended Audience: Those who are familiar with Roadsoft and are looking to learn more with an in-depth look at configuring the Road Module tools to help better use the Strategy & Optimization and Project Planning & Selection Tools.

October 16 – Surface Types, Treatments & Curve Definitions along with Data Cleanup: A close look at the definition forms for surface types, treatment types, and curves. Learn how and when to create new surface sub-types and how to define treatments and costs for use in other Roadsoft tools. Examining and cleaning up your road-related data before trying to use the advanced Roadsoft tools. Learn how to use the Filter Builder, Multi-Edit, Small Segment Tool, and rebuilding Remaining Service Life.
October 23 – Strategy and Optimization Module: These tools can help you to create, evaluate, and compare asset management plans for maintaining pavement assets. Learn how to create manual and optimized strategies.
October 30 – Project Planner and Project Module: These tools can assist you with selecting project locations for multi-year plans based on condition rations and expected deterioration. Learn how to implement a plan from a specific strategy or from a defined set of roads. Track project details from planning to completion and integrate those details with other Roadsoft tools. Learn how to create projects directly from the map or from the PPST planner projects.
November 6 – Extended Service Life Calculator: Have your treatments performed as expected over time? Learn how to use the ESL Calculator to evaluate treatment life spans to determine whether they were cost effective.

Highlights:
• Overview of materials acceptance and definition of terms • Material Source List and Guide • Basis of acceptance (e.g tested material, approved manufacturers/suppliers, general and test data certification, qualified products, visual inspection) and examples
Content of each seminar is the same. Please only register once as seating is limited. This training includes a one hour lunch break.
Seminar sessions are subject to cancellation if fewer than 15 people are registered. LS Engineering will provide login information prior to the event.
