Intended Audience: Water Operators, Utility Managers, Technical Assistance Providers
This class will cover recommended routine maintenance tasks for wastewater collection systems.
Objectives:
• List methods used to clean sewer collection mains.
• Explain how smoke testing is conducted and interpreted.
• Describe flow testing procedures for collection system mains.
• List methods used to conduct condition assessment mains.
• Describe methods that can be used to assess lift stations and diagnose operational problems.
• Define flow and filtration in collection systems.
