Event Details

Intended Audience: city engineers, county engineers, consultants; anyone who designs, constructs or inspects asphalt pavements

• Learn how to navigate asphalt pavement mix design selection and how to interpret asphalt specifications for local agencies in an interactive session. ~ Michelle Miller, PE, Michigan DOT

• Learn about unique pavement types and how and why they might be right for you. You’ll learn about perpetual pavements, permeable pavements, and asphalt for trails and sports courts and how to get the most out of those materials. ~ Chuck Mills, PE, Asphalt Pavement Association of Michigan

• Learn about innovative solutions for problem pavement areas. If you’ve got soft soils, marshy areas, or other conditions where your pavements are under performing, you’ll learn about options to overcome those challenges and improve your pavement performance. ~ Don Dunkin, PE, Soils and Structures

The registration deadline for this hybrid event is September 9, 2025.

Continental breakfast and lunch are provided for in-person participants. Lodging for those traveling to the event are the responsibility of the participant.
