DESCRIPTION: Snowplows are essential pieces of equipment for winter maintenance, with their main function being to pick up snow from the roadway and cast it to the side. Most people usually take for granted that they work the way they should. But how do snowplows pick up snow from the road surface and what determines the length and height of the cast? In this talk, Alex Klein-Paste is sharing some of the recent research done in Norway to optimize the cast of snowplows.\n\nRegistration for this online event closes on February 26th.\n\n\n\nFor details, click here: http://ctt.nonprofitsoapbox.com/2024snowflowdynamics-feb
