Event Details
Many small utilities are faced with challenges, such as limited revenue and aging infrastructure, as they strive to meet the needs of their communities. In this class, attendees will learn how to apply financial management principles to improve the capacity and sustainability of their drinking water.
The objectives of this training include:
>> Exploring finance options for environmental infrastructure projects.
>> Understanding how to successfully employ asset management.
>> Learning how user rates are calculated.
>> Analyzing financial performance of your utility using operating and debt ratios.
>> Discussing municipal notes and bonds.
Lunch is on your own from 12pm-1pm. You are also welcome to bring your own lunch to the training location.
EGLE has approved this training for 0.6 Managerial CECs (drinking water only).
