Certified Office Technicians are an integral part of ensuring project documentation and material postings follow federal-aid compliance requirements.  This webinar will help office techniciations "think with the end in mind". They will learn how to use effectively the Michigan Department of Transporation Construction Manual and other department resources to reduce end-of-project documentation deficiencies and expedite construction project closeout.

Attendees will learn why careful review of IDRs and field measurements/calculations for item postings are imperative for avoiding improper payment.  They will also learn how to provide adequate documentation to support contract modifications and time extensions for judicious approvals.  Attendees will gain a valuable understanding of how to preserve federal- and state-aid on their agency's projects.
